Find a saint to help you on your journey
The Catholic Church has been reflecting on the coming of Christ and trying to authentically live out his message for more than two thousand years. That depth is a gift and has produced a huge variety of saints from all walks of life.
Saints are those who have set us a good example and now see God face to face in heaven. We ask them to pray for us as they know what we most need. Their writings can help us to pray and come closer to God.
For example, St Augustine lived more than 1500 years ago but his books and conversion story still touch many hearts: "To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek Him the greatest adventure; to find Him, the greatest human achievement."
